Environmental Field Technician
We are seeking Environmental Field Technicians to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about environmental science and enjoy fieldwork, this opportunity is for you! This position is great for students seeking to learn about different field equipment and develop technical skills for environmental management.
Position Type: Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental field monitoring and sampling for air, noise, and water quality testing.
Operate and maintain field equipment in compliance with established company protocols and manufacturers’ specifications.
Record and document data accurately during field operations.
Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures during field activities.
Assist in the preparation of field reports and ensure samples are delivered for analysis in a timely manner.
Requirements
Current and/or recently graduated student in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Experience in field sampling and testing (preferred, but training will be provided for suitable candidates).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to field locations as needed.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and early mornings, if required
