BrinsJen attends GTA’s Tourism Business Licensing Clinic
On January 18, 2023, BrinsJen attended the Guyana Tourism Authority’s (GTA) first-ever Tourism Business Licensing Clinic held at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre. The main purpose of this session was to enable existing and new tourism business owners to connect with key regulatory agencies to expedite the processes and address the challenges related to registering and licensing their businesses.
At the Clinic, BrinsJen was able to meet with several local tourism businesses to begin the process of implementing important safety systems into their operations.
BrinsJen completes the HSSE Mentorship
In November 2022, BrinsJen was honored for its completion of the HSSE Management System Mentorship program that was organized by the Centre of Local Business Development (CLDB). The HSSE Mentorship Program includes an initial seminar tailored specifically for Senior Management Executives followed by individual follow-up sessions with the Centre’s international HSSE experts. These sessions provide businesses with the opportunity to discuss their HSSE status and receive guidance on developing or enhancing their HSSE management systems.
BrinsJen Founder graduates from the AccelerateHer 2.0 Program
In September 2022, Jenell Williams, the Founder of BrinsJen, completed the AccelerateHer Program that was hosted by the Centre of Local Business (CLDB) in Guyana.
The Accelerate Her Program is a global initiative aimed at supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs. It provides resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help women grow their businesses. In Guyana, the AccelerateHer program has immensely benefited women, and entrepreneurs, including BrinsJen.
